Teaching Nano & Emerging Technologies Webinar
Teaching Nano & Emerging Technologies Webinar Series
When: Thursday, January 25, 2018, 7:00 PM – 8:00 PM
Time Zone: Eastern Time
The National Nanotechnology Coordination Office (NNCO) will hold the next in its series of free webinars for the K–12 community on Thursday, January 25, at 7 PM ET. Join us to learn about the Sustainable Nano blog and podcast (sustainable-nano.com) and to discuss how these outreach projects can be useful for K-12 educators. Sustainable Nano is produced by the Center for Sustainable Nanotechnology, a multi-institute chemistry research center funded by the National Science Foundation. This webinar will include information on how the blog and podcast are produced and the types of educational resources provided so far, as well as an interactive discussion on ways that Sustainable Nano can benefit and involve K-12 educators and students in the future.
Audience: Educators interested in bringing nano and emerging technologies into the classroom are encouraged to participate.
Registration: This webinar is free and open to the public with registration on a first-come, first-served basis. Registration is now open and will be capped at 500. Webinar viewers will be able to submit questions for Dr. Krause to answer during the discussion period. Submitted questions will be considered in the order received and a moderator will identify relevant questions and pose them to the speaker. Due to time constraints, some questions may be grouped and some may not be addressed during the webinar.
