Get Ready for Track Season (1) Tuesday 16 February 2016, 02:00 PM - 03:00 PM
This free webinar focuses on Standard Video Systems utilized for track. Standard Video Systems are comprised of several components. A Digital Media Player that houses visual content, composites that content onto a video output and delivers playback to your display. A Video Processor is the interface that drives video to your display, and Show Control which consists of Display Studio and Content Studio and is the interface of your control system. Also available are Data components (Hytek, Finish Lynx, All Sport) that allow live data to be displayed in addition to live video and animated content. This webinar will provide an overview of all components with an emphasis on the following: • Signal Flow – How each component is connected to another. It's important to know what components make up your system and the signal flow between them. This will help with any troubleshooting that may arise. • Show Control – This is the operating system that determines what content is displayed on the video board, be it animations or static graphics, data, live video, or a combination of all three. • Real Time Data (RTD) – How does data come into the system and what are the means available to display this data? Standard Video systems have the ability to use RTD frames to build custom stats graphics to pick and choose what information is displayed for everyone to see. Speaker
