Anatomy of Breastfeeding

This class is designed to teach about the anatomy and physiology of the breast and its' effect on breastfeeding. Objectives for this class are to describe the development of the breast that prepares a woman for breastfeeding, and describe the development of the breast during the first week postpartum that facilitates production of copious amounts of milk. And finally, to describe two structural differences in the breast that could impact breastfeeding. This activity provides 1.0 L-CERPs allocated by IBLCE. 1.0 instructional hours in topics on the IBLCE Exam Blueprint. IBLCE Provider Approval Number CLT113-15.
